Pass this along to as many people as you want. It is shareware and will not expire.
If you don't know what a clipboard is, it is piece of memory shared by all Windows programs which allows you to transfer data between them easily. It is where text lives temporarily between CUT and PASTE.
Every time your computer starts, FormatClip needs to be started if you want access to FormatClip. This can be done manually by double clicking on the formatclip icon in the location where you first downloaded it.
To have it start automatically:
Drag the FormatClip icon to your Startup Folder.
To find your Startup Folder, click on the Start
menu with the right mouse button and choose Explore from the menu. Double
click on Programs folder from the right pane of the Explorer window and then drag the FormatClip icon to the folder named
Startup.
As soon as you click, the text is cleaned up, and replaces whatever text you had on the clipboard.
Now you can PASTE the newly formatted text into any window you can type in. Use your mail program or word processor's Edit->Paste command.
